Who is Brian?

The mastermind behind this operation.

My first introduction and what would instantly become a fascination with hypnosis, was when I was 17 years old, during my Freshman year at UCONN (University of Connecticut). This is when, I saw my first stage hypnosis show. The Stage hypnotist was the incredibility talented James Mapes, whom has turned into a lifelong friend and my mentor. I was blown away by all the tricks he did on stage and how he was able to get the kids on stage to follow his suggestions so completely. I took a class that he offered, at which point I had a whole school of students that were pretty knowledgeable on hypnosis, since this Hypnosis show was literally the biggest event at our school each year. I had plenty of willing students to practice on and I learned that I was very good at it.
After college I put hypnosis on the back burner, as life got in the way. About 5 years ago, I returned back to my original love of hypnosis and on my 40th birthday, I made the decision to get my professional training and certification in hypnosis. I enrolled in HMI College of Hypnotherapy, the first fully accredited college in America for Hypnotherapy. In Sept 2014, 11 months after my 40th birthday, I graduated from HMI with Honors as a Certified Hypnotherapist. I have my certification with the Hypnotherapy Local Union 472 and The International Certification Board of Clinical Hypnotherapy and I am a professional member of The American Hypnosis Association. I also attended John Cerbone’s two day Speed Trance training in NYC, which was incredible!
Most recently I attended a two day hypnosis conference in Seattle: 1st day: Generating Practice with Academic Performance Hypnosis: Identify definition of success, Mindfulness stress reduction, Increase study habits, memory and recall, Identify and overcome mental and emotional roadblocks, Create plan of action and Future pace success. 2nd day: Using Hypnosis to Create Peak Performance: Use hypnosis to expand capacity, reach new goals and create physical as well as mental success, demonstrate real life processes, including effective strategies for visualization, self-talk and affirmation and incorporating micro-muscle memory for sports performance.

Classes at HMI: I attended HMI College of Hypnotherapy, the first fully accredited college in America for Hypnotherapy, my training included 300 hours of classroom and 200 hours of a clinical residency program in which I was worked with clients in a hypnotherapy setting. In school, I had classes in Hypnotic Modalities, NLP Part 1&2, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Kappasinian Hypnosis, Hypnotic Regression, Dream Therapy, Hypn-Diagnostic Tools A&B, Hypnodrama, Child Hypnosis, Advanced Child Hypnosis, Medical Hypnosis, Fears and Phobias, Defense Mechanisms, Emotional and Physical Sexuality Part 1&2, Systems Theory, Law and Ethics, Sexual Dysfunction, Low Blood Sugar, Eating Disorders, Substance Abuse, Crisis Intervention, Counseling and Interviewing, Advanced Law and Ethics, Advertising and Promotion, First Consultation, Habit Control, General Self Improvement, Mental Bank, Hypno-Anesthesia, Imagery 1&2 and a 6 class course on Hand Writing Analysis.
I greatly enjoy making hypnosis mp3 recordings. I use a professional level recording software program for making hypnosis mp3 files. This program uses binary beats aka brain entrainment, it’s really quite interesting and there is a whole science behind using different frequencies to help the brain go into different brain wave states. I generally will use the ones for reaching the hypnotic state. Below you will find my Hypnosis mp3: Tropical Island Hypnosis Induction, which is especially helpful for people that have had a difficult time going into a trance state in the past, this file will help you go into trance rather quickly (usually 7 minutes or less of listening to these frequencies will put you in a deep hypnotic state).
This way you have something to listen to until we can do a session together, please feel free to let me know how you enjoy this recording! This file is 14 minutes long, you would want to be lying down in bed or sitting down with earbuds on. I take you through a progressive relaxation, then you I start you on the Tropical Island Induction and then you are giving a suggestion to feel happy upon awakening. But, I actually let you customize your definition of the word happy, so it could be a state of relaxation, euphoria, whatever you decide it to be for that session! Just so you have more info on the Theta waves that are use in this recording: This is a Theta meditation, ramping in steps down to 6.5 Hz. This session stimulates mid-Theta, so it may be an easier to remain conscious during this session than with the deeper Theta meditations.

What Is Hypnosis?

It’s a large question, really what is Hypnosis?

Many people are not truly aware of what hypnosis is.    It’s by far the most common question I am asked.  Hypnosis, fundamentally, is a state of deep relaxation, that a professional such as myself, uses to bypass  the critical factor (the conscious mind), allowing access to the subconscious mind where positive suggestions and meaningful change can easily take place.  In other words, its the process that helps “get yourself out of the way”.

Hypnosis is not mind control, you will not do things against your will, you will not reveal deep dark secrets.   These are some of the misconceptions learned from watching movies, TV shows and even Saturday morning cartoons.  If anything, hypnosis is a state of great self empowerment and control of oneself.  it can be an inward guided journey into one’s self where you are searching and discovering wonderful inward resource states within yourself.  Where you may find and tap into an abundance of personal power.  Hypnosis is the self suggestion that acts as a key to unlock the wellspring of personal power dormant within.  You see, each person has an unlimited supply of personal power, a champion within, amazing inner resources to access a place of power.  It is when you can tap into that great resource state, that you will be able to achieve many goals and even break through preconceived and self imposed limitations, arriving at the wonderful place where you can finally shatter negative self image and mental blocks completely.

This is where hypnosis comes to the rescue.  Hypnosis is what allows people to achieve more successful states within.  And when a person changes from within, the sky is the limit.  Suddenly you’re able to walk through life feeling totally in control and perfectly in sync with everything around and within you, feeling powerful, a force to reckoned with, an unstoppable achiever, always hitting your mark.

The biggest barrier to success is the mind.  Some say the mind is the only barrier to success.

When I first met Brian I was quite skeptical on the hypnosis that he was mentioning for bodybuilders.  I have always been a skeptic when it comes to anything out of my comfort zone, but I thought why not try something that can help set me ahead.
